I purchased my cavapoo 2.5 years ago as a surprise Christmas gift for my wife. Family Puppies is located about five hours from my home. The new puppy was delivered to the front of my neighborhood Christmas Eve allowing me to keep him hidden until the big reveal Christmas morning. Dave was great to work with. I made all payment via Apple Cash making it very easy. Thank you for such a great experience and a great dog.

Just wanted to leave a review and let anyone thinking of getting a puppy from Dave that we got a cockapoo who we named Reggie and he is awesome. Got a clean bill of health from the vet and is doing very well adjusting to his new home in Massachusetts. It was a very easy transaction and he got here smoothly and showed up when he said he would.

We bought Molly 11 1/2 years ago and she has been such a blessing to us. She is now a senior dog, as are we, and she still acts like a puppy most days. We live in an independent living facility and she is loved by everyone here. Thanks, Dave, for allowing us the privilege of adopting such a sweet, smart, and wonderful little Havanese puppy. We picked up our poo-ton puppy in Feb 2024, and he is perfect. Super smart, great disposition, and our vet was very pleased with how he checked out at his first visit.

Dave was great — very responsive, knowledgeable, answered all of our questions and made the entire adoption process very straightforward and seamless. Overall, a very good experience and are very happy with our new pup!

We received our Cavalier in November of 2024. We are in our 70’s and have always had larger “fur babies”. Our Bailey is just the right size, perfect temperament, and perfect in every way. I went to Indiana to pick up my havapoo puppy, Cocoa (fka Kelly), from Dave in January 2022. Dave was professional, easy to work with and really cares about his dogs. Cocoa is almost 4 and she has truly been the greatest gift!! She is healthy, lovable, smart, sassy, and loves kids, people, and other animals. Dave was wonderfully patient and thorough in helping us pick out our two Coton de Tulear puppies. The puppies, Sadie and Ruby, are happy, healthy and learning fast. We are fortunate to be within driving distance of 'Family Puppies', so we got to see the reassuringly excellent rural setting Dave maintains for his dogs.

Just wanted to let you know how happy we are
with our adorable little Havaton, Charlie! He adapted right away to our family and he loves everyone he meets. We laugh daily at his antics. He is an active little guy to say the least! He has doubled his weight since we picked him up in Nappanee, September of 2025. He now weighs 12 pounds.

We got our first cavapoo from Dave at Family Puppies back in December of 2021 and she has an amazing temperament and is a healthy girl. We recently returned to get a second cavapoo from Family Puppies because our first is so great. I would get more dogs from them in the future too.
