Im thrilled to learn that there is a kennel near me that has Coton de Tulear
dogs. Almost 2 and 1/2 years ago I adopted a Coton. She was a female retiring from a breeding kennel. I had recently lost my husband. We had a Havanese who was my husbands constant companion. He was so depressed after his passing that I decided to find a companion for him. I found this beautiful little girl for him and it was love at first sight. Both the Havanese and the the Coton age the same age by only a few days. They both turned 10 this December. The Havanese is very independent and is “boss dog” in a good way. The Coton is just a cuddle bug, she would snuggle all day and night if I would hold still. Hopefully I will continue to enjoy their company for many more years to come.
